Die Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien bietet seit 1994 Studien für Alte Musik an, in der die Realisierung der Musikliteratur von der Ars Nova bis zur beginnenden Romantik auf historisch adäquatem Instrumentarium unter Berücksichtigung und Erforschung historischer Quellen im Mittelpunkt der praxisorientierten Ausbildung steht.
